Join Grand Lion Tours for an unforgettable shark cage diving experience in Gansbaai, located 2.5 hours from Cape Town. Encounter Great White Sharks up close while enjoying private transfers and expert guidance. Shark cage diving fees are excluded and must be paid upon arrival.
This tour includes private transportation in a luxury vehicle to Gansbaai, followed by a 2–3-hour boat ride for the cage diving adventure. A light breakfast and lunch are also provided.

Tour Plan
Cape Town Central ( Pickup from Accommodation )
Start the day with an early pickup from your accommodation in Cape Town. Travel along the scenic N2 highway in a private luxury vehicle toward Gansbaai.
Gansbaai
Arrive at the diving base in Gansbaai and enjoy a light breakfast while receiving an introductory briefing from the crew. Board the boat for the thrilling shark cage diving experience, lasting 2–3 hours. All diving equipment and towels are provided. After the dive, freshen up with a hot shower at the base before continuing the journey.
Hermanus
On the way back, stop in Hermanus, a town known for whale watching and local wines. Guests can opt for a wine-tasting session in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley or enjoy a 3-course meal paired with wine at Creation Wine Estate. Other restaurant recommendations will be provided by the guide.
Stony Point Penguin Colony, Betty’s Bay
Visit the Stony Point Penguin Colony in Betty’s Bay to see one of the largest penguin colonies in Cape Town.
