Tour Overview
Explore the renowned American Express Wine Route on a guided journey through three distinct wine regions. This tour begins with a convenient pick-up and travels along the N1 to Paarl, where the first stop is Fairview. Here, guests enjoy a wine and cheese pairing, experiencing the unique flavors of this celebrated winery.
The tour continues to Franschhoek, known for producing some of the finest MCCs (Méthode Cap Classique). This picturesque valley offers breathtaking views and a visit to Haute Cabrière for the second wine tasting. Guests can enjoy a meal at one of the excellent restaurants along Franschhoek’s main street, offering an ideal lunch break.
The final region is Stellenbosch, the second-oldest town in South Africa, known for its historic charm. After a short time to explore the area, the tour concludes with a tasting at DeMorgenzon, a winery that enhances its wine quality by playing music to its vines. After the final tasting, the tour ends with a return to the drop-off location.
